He entered this world on September 18, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, born to Roland and Martha Slocum. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diane Slocum; his children, Nicole and Roland Slocum; granddaughter, Ashley Castano; his mother, Martha Slocum; niece, Meghan Allen; his Aunt Elizabeth Patterson and son Ka lvin and daughter Deborah, his sisters, Evangeline Stewart, Marion and Loita Slocum; and his brothers, George Slocum and Roosevelt Johnson; sisters-in-law, Theresa Stokes, Arlene Henson and husband Dorian; brother-in-law, Steve Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Roland Slocum and brother, Albert Slocum. Roland served in the Army 9563 to 82666.

After leaving the Army, Roland decided to join the Baltimore City Police Stafford, Jane 11 Stafford, age 57, passed on Saturday, January 2, 2016. She was born in Wichita, KS. She is preceded in death by her mother, Norma Stafford; her sister-in-law, Mary Stafford; and her dog, Chaco. Janell is survived by her father, William Stafford; brother, Mark; nephew, Christian; niece, Sara; and her two dogs, Harry and Harley. She is also survived by many close and genuine friends in both Albuquerque and Kansas City.

rt During the morning of December 24, 2015, the joy of our lives, Raymond Oligher passed into eternal life. He was the most loving, sincere, kind, dedicated, gentle, humorous person ever to grace this earth. He was loved by his children, Ray and Barbara, and his three "step-children" He was born and raised in Pennsylvania served in the US Army in Europe towards the end of WWII (1943-1949). He graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in biology; hired by the Corps of Engineers, Portland and Walla Walla District offices where he worked on some of the largest and most extensive projects on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. His expertise was in the area of fishery biology especially the fish ladders on those major rivers.

His official title was "Chief, Fish and Wildlife He retired from the Corps on 1980. During his employment years with the Corps, he was active in several professional groups relative to his po 01 .7 0 Mildred C. Romero passed away peacefully at home at the age of 92 on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Mildred had wonderful memories of the time she spent working at Los Alamos and Sandia Base. She worked for 27 years -112 Evc then retired when :..15) she married Alfonso 1' Romero, who was a rancher in Antonito, CO.

They lived there until they retired from ranching in 2007 and moved to Espanola, NM. After living in Espanola for three years they moved to Albuquerque. Mildred was an amazing woman who touched many live with her kindness. She loved visiting with family and friends, where she told wonderful stories of her life experiences. She will be greatly missed by all her relatives and friends around the country.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alfonso J. Romero; her parents, Chris and Salazar, Antonia, age 97, beloved mother and grandmother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to her heavenly home, January 6, 2016. She was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ignacio Salazar; daughter, Yolanda Salazar; and granddaughter, Antoinette White. Antonia is survived by her loving children, Isabel "Chavela" White, Raymond Salazar and Ursula, Priscilla Nates and husband Al, Frankie Salazar and wife Ramona, Pete Salazar and Debra, Ignacio Salazar, Barbara Finley and husband Bill; 25 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Antonia will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be Monday, January 11, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to Sanchez, Elsie Sanchez, age 72 our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, left our world to join our Lord on January 6, 2016. She was an amazing, loving, and caring women who always invested herself in caring for others. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Demostenes Sanchez; parents Epitacio and Lucaria Duran; sister Edwina Sanchez; brother Felix Duran and son-in-law Arthur Contrares.

She is survived by three children, Joanne Contrares, Patricia Russell and husband Gary, Tommy Sanchez and wife Loretta. Elsie is also survived by her grandchildren which brought her profound love, joy, and pride, Monique Priest and husband Jeremiah, Ashley Herrera and husband Joey, Leanne Sanchez, Jessica Sanchez, Jared Russell, and Erin Russell. She is survived by her -112 Padilla, Anthony "Tony" Starkey, Donald Rev. It has been a year since you have been gone but we still miss the sound of your voice, the wisdom of your advice, the stories of your life and just being in your presence. Donald J. Starkey, age 93, died Friday, January 1, 2016. He is survived by his siblings, Theresa Ellen Glascock, Benjamin T. Starkey, and John E. Starkey; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Born in 1922 near O'Fallon, IL, Don attended Central Catholic High in San Antonio before earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, TX. He proudly served in the United States Navy for three years during WWII. Father Starkey completed his seminary studies in Rome and was ordained in July 1952 for service in the Diocese of Galveston-Houston. In 1966, he was transferred to service in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, where he assisted at Our Lady of Fatima and John XXIII Parishes and other duties until his Department. He served there for 10 years before working in the Howard County District Courthouse.

Later he joined the Natural Resources State Police for eight years. In 1996, Roland moved his family to Albuquerque, NM and there he was employed as a security guard for Bank of America and Sprint for 20 some years. His hobbies were photography, fishing, archery, golfing, hiking, painting, drawing, watching classic movies, listening to music, interacting with his family and most of all reading. Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH Wyoming. Friends may visit Thursday, January 14, 2016 from p.m.

She was always thankful for her visitors who stopped by to play games and spend time with her at the nursing home. She still enjoyed games and telling jokes. Her church and her belief in the Lord were an important part of her life, and she was still active with Grace Church at the nursing home where she resided. We are thankful for Albuquerque Rehabilitation Center employees who listened to her jokes and cared for her.

Wilbur Stearns was born in East Worcester, NY on December 55 1934. He was the first son of Edith (Neilander) and Frank B.

Stearns. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; spouses, Barbara (Scott) Stearns and Phyllis (Eskew) Stearns. Wilbur is survived by his step-mother, Esther Stearns; brother, Alan Stearns; sons, Charles, James and Ian Stearns; daughters, Susan Liebold and Kara Tollef son; step-sons, Michael and James Roach, Ann Roach, 92, a resident of White Rock, passed away at her home in the presence of her family, on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, following a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bart and Frances Shepherd; children, A Beverly Ann Mattson, Sara Lynn Evans, Pam Mackey; brothers, Bill Shepherd, and John Shepherd. She excelled in homemaking activities, making candy, needle paint sewing, and loved sharing her knowledge.

She enjoyed playing cards, enjoyed her friends and family. Her life was centered on family and friends. She will be dearly missed. (Scutt) Mc Han (Richard) of Bangs, TX; grandchildren, Amy Sam, Melissa Paul, Clint Jacobs, Nickolas Jacobs, Aaron Scutt, Jared Scutt, Ryan Scutt, Chris Mc Han, Nick Mc Han, Brittany Culverhouse; sister, Phyllis Stevens; brother, Phillip Rockwell, and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by her great and great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Park-view Baptist Church and Del Norte Baptist Church of Albuquerque.

She helped run the Scutt Plastering Business with Vigil, Albert M. Born March 30, 1930 in Lincoln, NM, moved to Gallup, NM then to Albuquerque where he passed away on August 7 2015. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor Vigil; two sons, Daniel Vigil and wife Rosemarie I and Reno Vigil and his wife Jessica; grandchildren Danielle Vigil, Cristle and Mike He lvie, Melodie and Carlos Ponce, Rico and Desiree Vigil, Alberta Vigil, Joshua and Racheal Vigil, Zoe Roze Vigil, and Vincent Bauer; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Gabriella, Promise, Ariana, Dakota, Andro se, Claire, Noah, Evangeline, Rico, Isiah, Noah, Stephenie, Justine, Jimme Anne; one great-great grandchild, Brie 11a, and his sister, Patricia Saavedra. Sr. W. Stephen Scott, age 67, a devoted father, grandfather brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015. He was known for his kindness to people and his music.

He is survived by his daughters Nicole Scott and husband Brandon, Elissa husband Sam; his three grandchildren, Hannah, Ezekiel, and Mykaela. He is also survived by his sister Katherine Klau, December 25, 1962 December 27, 2015 Steven C. Segura, age 53, has passed away. He was preceded in death by his mother Connie and brother, Manuel Gene Segura. He is survived by his wife, Diane Segura; sons Richard and wife Charlene Sanchez, Steven C.
