Reception to follow at Sister, Sharon Welch's house at 6036 Appleton Rd SW in Albuquerque. Her family and friends loved and admired her greatly and her grandchildren adored her.

She was so much to so many, she will be missed by all. A special thanks to our loving aunt Sharon and Doris' granddaughter Mary for all their hard work and dedication in the last most difficult months. Our prayers are with you. TORRES Mr. Antonio "Anthony" J.

Torres, 43, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 20, 1998. Mr. Torres is survived by his three daughters, Letisha Torres, Rachel Torres and Frances Torres; his mother, Mary Torres; and served as minister of Ridge-crest Christian Church in Albuquerque from 1952 to 1961. He is also credited with founding several Bible colleges in the Midwest. Grandson John Bayless said his grandfather continued to work for the church and his community after his retirement.

"Even during the last few years, he would spend two or three days a week driving around ladies who were in their 60s and 70s," John Bayless said. "He always had a lot of energy and he was real healthy. He was such a kind man, someone who would listen to you talk for hours and hours." John Bayless said he and his grandfather would often sit togeth er and read in companionable silence. "He would read his book and I would read my newspaper," he said. "There wasn't a lot of conversation, but he just loved having company." J.

Fred Bayless is survived by his son, David Bayless of Belem, Brazil; his daughter, Anne Carr of Craig, his grandchildren, Joanne Stanford of Wichita, John Bayless of Albuquerque; Anne Bayless of Belem, Brazil; Keith and Carolyn Carr of Craig, Colo. A memorial service will be held at Ridgecrest Christian Church at San Mateo near Gibson, on Friday. Gifts may be designated to the Ridgecrest Mission Fund in memory of J. Fred Bayless. Fred Bayless devoted his life to God and to helping others, say family members and friends. "He was the most intensely dedicated Christian I've ever known," said friend Karen Jones. "He was always holding someone's hand and praying for people." Bayless, a longtime Albuquerque resident and Christian minister, died in Craig, on June 17, just days short of his 94th birthday. He was born in 1904 in what is now known as Oklahoma. He graduated from Johnson Bible College in Tennessee, where he later taught.

He served in preaching ministries in Texas, Colorado and New Mexico, Silvestro Known for Generosity Runnels, Earl Cook, and Michael Sei. Mrs. Sanchez was born December 7, 1916, to the late Evaristo and Luz B. Lucero. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Sanchez; an aunt, Feletita Gabaldon; a sister, Frances Chavez.

Silvestro, 55, passed away June 13, 1998. He was a resident of Albuquerque for 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Judith; and numerous family and friends who will miss him. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Newman Center on UNM Campus, June 26, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, his wife requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.

He is jreatly loved and sorely missed. Sleep well. Cremation by Direct Services, 343-8008, 4501 4th NW. SWAGER Doris Lucille Swager of Albuquerque passed away on Sunday, June 21, 1998. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Eugene Swager of 48 years.

Her loving parents, Cecil F. Butler and Elvyn Ethel Butler; and her wonderful grandsons, Ronnie, Jody and Shane Swager; and granddaughter, Carrie Swager. She is survived by her great aunts, Pat Brady of Oregon and Velma Coleman of Albuquerque; sisters, Myrtie Leckinger and Ray of Albuquerque, Sharon Welch of Albuquerque and Sybil Brooks and husband, Bruce of Nevada. Doris had five children all of Albuquerque, Debbie Smith, Cathy Sowers and one sister, Jennie Torres; brothers, Felix Torres Jr. and wife, Margaret, Alfred Torres and wife, Lourdes and Jerry H.

Torres and wife, Cindy; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Mr. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday morning, 9:00 a.m., at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with Msgr.

Bazan, Celebrant. The family will be receiving family and friends after 8:00 a.m. at the chureh. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.

TRUJILLO Onofre Trujillo, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Wednesday, June 24, 1998. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Annie Trujillo of the family home; daughter, Cora Adams and husband, Johnny of Belen; sons, Liandro Trujillo and wife, Fusayo of Anaheim, CA, Joe Trujillo and wife, Nancy of Albuquerque, Curtis Trujillo and wife, Cecilia of Dallas, TX and Lee O. Trujillo and wife, Dana of Corrales; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosa Madrid of Albuquerque. Mr. Trujillo was born in Conjilon, NM.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Trujillo moved to Albuquerque in 1964, where he was an active member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church.

Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 3400 4th St. NW. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 1 1:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, with Rev.

Since 1970, Shirley lived and raised her family in Albuquerque, where she also worked in the Real Estate community for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Olsen in 1978. She is survived by her beloved mother, Jeanette Geraci of Chicago, IL; her cherished brother, Carmen Geraci and his wife, Lisa of Wheeling, IL; her loving children, Cheryl Baker and husband, Steve of Las Vegas, NV, Eric H. Olsen with Sherri Brueggemann of Amy Bowden and husband, Larry with their children," Alexandres, Hannah, Kyle and "one-on-the-way" of Pipe Creek, TX, Jon Olsen of and Kara Olsen and her fiance, Michael Fenster-macher of Alb. Shirley will be missed by friends and family more than mere words can say.

Services will be held Thursday the 24, 10:30 a.m., at the French Mortuary Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., also at French's. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.

PAJUNEN Eino Victor Pajunen, 88, husband, grandfather, fisherman, golfer and friend, passed away on June 24, 1998 in Albuquerque. Eino was a resident of Albuquerque from 1938 until 1992. He currently resided in Sun City, AZ. Eino was bom on April 20, 1910 in Lowell, AZ. He received a degree in Education in 1934 from Arizona State Teachers College at Flagstaff.

He worked for ICX Trucking Company from 1938 until 1973. He retired as vice president for New Mexico-Arizona Operations. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Louise Carson Pajunen of Albuquerque; a son, Victor Eino Pajunen and wife, Rose Marie of Albuquerque; a daughter, Judy Neely and husband, Jerry of Farmington, NM; three grandchildren, Becky Surmeier and husband, John of Folsum, CA, Maria Banning and husband, Denny of Albuquerque, and Marc Neely and wife, Kathy of Englewood, CO. Eino had five great-grandchildren, Neely, Mason, Abby, Cassidy and Callum. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 1998 at Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, with Pastor John Ross of the Believers Center of Albuquerque, officiating.

She is survived by her son, Gregory A. Poteet and wife, Katherine of Albuquerque; sisters, Ida Sei, Mary Vaio, Alice Cook and husband, Earl, and Mildred Monte, all of Albuquerque; brother, Lawrence Monte and wife, Peggy of Albuquerque; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Poteet; brothers, Albert Monte and Gerge Monte. She retired as a Vice PresidentTrust Officer for First National Bank of Albuquerque, where she worked for over 35 years. Rosary will be recited, Friday, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd.

NE. Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Memorial Mausoleum, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE, with Father Mike Cimino. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Vaio, James Cook, Roger DeAngelis, Pierce "He was well-liked and jovial," Louis Silvestro said. "He was the Santa Claus-type." Silvestro also sold handmade Southwestern artifacts each weekend at the flea market on the New Mexico State Fairgrounds, said his friend Peter Thome.

'Silvestro had lived in Albuquerque for 27 years. "He had a teasing sense of humor," Thome said. "He would say something to get you on edge but he did it with a twinkle in his eye. When he had the restaurant, he would give people meals out in the back. He was helpful around the Silvestro and Thome lived across the street from each other and would occasionally go out to dinner or to the movies.

A memorial Mass will be'celebrat-ed at 2 p.m. Friday at the Newman Center on the University of New Mexico campus. Silvestro is survived by his wife Judith; brother Louis sisters-in-law Lynn O'Keefe and Lorrie Seaman; nephew Craig Seaman; father-in-law Joseph Seaman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins from Rhode Island, Calif. Lozano Journal Staff Writer Kenneth Silvestro is remembered as a person who was generous with his time and money and who had a sense of humor. Silvestro, 55, who co-founded and operated the dessert shop Itsa Italian Ice at 4520 Lomas NE from 1971 to 1985, died June 13. He had fought a battle with lung cancer for more than a year. Silvestro's brother, Louis, said he also owned New Lucky's Pizza at the same time he owned the dessert shop. Recently, he worked as a maintenance worker for a retirement home.

to 5:00 p.m. VALERINE Benjamin A. Valerine, 67, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Kazuko O. Valerine; daughter, Kathy Mabry and Mark; son, Ben Valerine; grandson, Ryan Edward Mabry; and granddaughter, Shanna Ryell Mabry, all of Albuquerque.

Mr. Valerine retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1970, and then he was employed at Sears. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, with Chaplain Col. Lemuel M.

Boyles USAF (Ret.) officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. WOLONSKY-Stephen 72, a resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, June 22, 1998.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gertrud Wolonsky of Albuquerque; daughter, Carolyn M. Sanders and husband, Paul of Spanaway, WA; sons, Karl S. Wolonsky of Newport Beach, CA and Glenn A. Wolonsky and wife, Karen of Morristown, NJ; 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Michael, Nick and Frank; and two sisters, Mary and Josephine.
